My best friend's wedding that I was a bridesmaid in was perfect all the way through both during the ceremony and the reception, the only problem was in between the ceremony and reception the limo that was supposed to pick them up never showed. They waited for over an hour hoping but to no avail. Just remember to always check and double check with vendors and such up until the day.

A similar thing happened to my sister when she got married, only the limo driver got in a wreck that was his fault while they were on the way to the reception. Luckily everyone was okay, and they eventually made it to the reception.

When my cousin got married, the limo driver was about 10 minutes late picking them up for the trip from the ceremony to the reception location (about a 10 minute drive). When he finally arrived, he was in such a hurry to get the couple to the desitnation, he got pulled over, cans dragging behind and all. After the incident was taken care of with the police officer, the driver called his boss to tell him what happened and was fired on the spot. The newlyweds then had to wait for the boss to show up to finish the job. They weren't charged for the limo, but almost missed their own cake cutting!
