My fiance and I are getting married in just over a year, and we have discussed, but have not decided on, hiring a wedding planner. I am allowing myself a lot of time to plan, and I am not sure whether or not this expenditure is necessary, or even that helpful. I am also concerned that my ideas might not be presented in a way that I am comfortable with if we had a planner. Any advice??
