No Idea Where ot Start

I know I want to have my wedding in Myrtle Beach, Sc, and my original idea was to rent a beach house and hold the ceremony on the beach and then the guests would just head back up to the beach house where we would hold the reception. I heard this can be difficult and getting a private beach may be hard. Has anyone done a beach wedding? If so, who did you go to for help to find the right location? I heard there's also a lot of paperwork and permits involved. Any advice you can give would be great, I just need some ideas as to what to expect and what to look for. Thanks!
