Choosing which account to register for on eHitched can sometimes get confusing. That is why I have put together this article to help you select the right account type, and get through the registration process that much quicker. Throughout this article, I will give you basic and advanced steps to making registration easy on eHitched.com.

Step 1: Choose your account type
Step 1 involves choosing which account type you fit into. Usually once step one has been completed, the rest of registration will be very simple. eHitched offers three different account types to choose from. I will explain each of them to help you choose which one is right for you.

(Brides and Grooms) - A bride and groom account is used for exactly what it says, a couple who is getting married and wants to take advantage of such tools as our wedding checklist, budget calculator, and your own wedding web page. A bride and groom account is FREE, and basically gives you access to everything our site has to offer including thousands of local vendors to make wedding planning easy. Usually this account is reserved for the bride and groom, but sometimes there are planners who take care of all of the planning of a wedding and would like to create an account on the behalf of a bride and groom so they can access all of our wedding planning tools during their planning process.

(Wedding Vendors) - A wedding vendor account is for anyone who currently or would like to have something to do with weddings. If you can help make planning a wedding by providing products or a service, this is the account for you. Gain access to thousands of local weddings. Choose from many different packages that will help you gain the exposure you need.

(Wedding Community) - A wedding community membership is for all other visitors of our site who still want to make a contribution. A wedding community membership is FREE and allows visitors to contribute to our wedding advice boards and send private messages between members. If you don't fall into either of the above two account types, then this is the account type for you.

Step 2: Enter Information

Now that you have your account type selected, you must enter all of the information required to become a member. Below I have provided a few of the fields you must fill in and some basic information behind each of them.

(Email Address) - eHitched requires you to provide a valid email address in order to create an account. The email address you provide is not only to validate a real entry, but it will also serve as your username. Because it is your username, you may only register one account for your email address. If you are worried about providing your email address, please view our privacy policy to see how eHitched uses your information.

(Zip Code) - eHitched uses the information you provide to better serve you with useful information and account tools. In order to do this we must create a network through our zip code location system. We have researched and continue to research new zip codes and locations, but sometimes we miss an area. If you enter your zip code and it produces an error saying the zip code you entered is not valid, please use the zip code lookup tool provided during your registration.

(Wedding Date) - This field is only required and available to brides and grooms. We understand that sometimes the actual date of your wedding is not quite available, but we ask that you give an estimate for your wedding date anyways. You may change it at anytime in your My eHitched section.

(Password) - Your password will be used to help keep your information more secure. We hope that you will choose a sensitive password that only you know in order to keep others from viewing or changing your personal information.

Step 3: Submit and Enjoy!
Congratulations, now that you have entered all of the required information, you can submit and become the newest member of eHitched. Once your account is created, you will be able to login to your account and use all of the tools that eHitched has to offer. Also, if you made a mistake in your information during registration, or your information changes, you can easily update information after logging into your account.
