- Most people want to take the easy way out and just begin to eat less to lose weight. Eat the proper foods consistently and eat meals that are well balanced, even with a few healthy snacks in between, in turn will make you happier, healthier, and combined with exercise, more fit.

- Yes I know we have all heard it before. But exercise can come in more forms than an expensive gym membership and spandex workout clothes. You can find a million things to call exercise, the key is to do it regularly in at least 20 minute intervals. Find something you can enjoy whether its sports, walking, jogging, etc., just stick with it and the results will come.
- Sleep -
Sleep is very important for your overall health and your metabolism. Undue stress from lack of sleep can cause you to eat more and lose effectiveness in your workout routines.
Set a goal for yourself. The gains do not always have to be measured in pounds. An in shape person weighing 140lbs can often look better than someone who does not eat right or exercise that weighs 120lbs. Your goals can consist of specific body parts or clothing size. Write your goals down and use pictures to help you define your progress.
Once a week reward yourself for your hard work. While most people choose to eat what is normally an off limits type of food, try using other things like going to a movie or anything that is not necessarily related to food. This will help you to realize that your body does not really miss those high calorie, high fat foods.
