We have known each other since High School, however we did not have the same circle of friends. We eventually ran into each other at a local pub one night and his friends and our friends starting hanging out a lot. We both dated different people on and off and eventually (years later) started hanging out together more and more - just the two of us - and realized that there might just be something between us! It gave people something to talk about!

Wow, this is a good one! We were painting our bedroom and had paint all over us and the room (and the house) were a mess. Branden said he had a surprise and that I had to close my eyes, when I opened them he had the ring and I almost fell over - I was saying, "Oh my God, Oh my God", and grabbing on to him. He FINALLY popped the question and I said yes!
