Jon and I currently live in a house in Carlsbad, California with our kitten Hero, hamster Gizmo, and betta fish Optimus Prime. We both attend Palomar College and work full time. He is the operations manager at Goldenstate Pools and I am the receptionist at Heritage Golf Group.

Jon moved from North Carolina to Arizona in 8th grade and started dating my best friend, Amber. We met at the Valentine's dance at Willis Junior High.

I was visiting Jon in San Diego for spring break my sophmore year of college and we decided to go to Target to hang out for a while. While we were there he took off my promise ring and, without me noticing, put an engagement ring back on my finger. When I looked down I could barely breathe and then he asked if I would marry him. We left Target and called our family and friends.
