We have been together for about five years now and have lived in Derby, a suburb of Wichita, for over two years. We have a beautiful little girl together, Breckyn, in addition to his two sons, Tyler and Spenser. We mostly just spend time together at home and really don't go out much.

We worked together in Lawrence at NCS. I was at KU and he was from Eudora (near Lawrence). We pretty much hit it off from the beginning.

He tried to put the ring on the Christmas tree for me to find, but I refused to go into the living room. It was my birthday and I thought he should let me do what I wanted instead of trying to make decisions for me. He finally just handed it to me and asked me to marry him. I said "you already knew that I would". We aren't very romantic, I guess.
