Michelle and Joe both live in their hometown, Lowell IN. Michelle enjoys teaching music at Oak Hill Elementary School. Joe is a dietician at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Crown Point. Together they enjoy good food, good music, reading, staying fit and spending time with family and friends. (And let's not forget baseball/ softball and ping pong.)

Sue Drexler, a mutual friend insisted that the two of us get together. So on a September evening, we met for a casual dinner at McVey's (quaint little place in the old downtown).

Joe asked Michelle to be his bride on her birthday (December 8th) after making her a tasty Italian dinner.
