Phillip and I met through my brother. We both played Co-ed softball at Papa Blakely's park. We started dating while I was attending school in College Station and he was working at Starbucks. I moved home In the Spring. Phillip and I moved in together in March when he began working out of town. We now work together, traveling.

For our 1 year anniversary of dating Phillip and I drove to Vicksburg, Mississippi to visit the Military Park and all the old mansions. On the eve of our anniversary we went to dinner at the Cedar Grove Mansion, it was a really romantic restaurant. After dinner Phillip and I walked around the Mansion, he took me to the top of a hill which over looked the Mansion. We were just playing around telling each other how much we love one another when Phillip asked if I knew how much he loved me, I answered with how much? He got down on one knee and with the ring and his hand he said this much, will you marry me?
