~*Every long lost dream led me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you. *~
*These are my words
That I've never said before
I think I'm doing okay
And this is the smile
That I've never shown before*

Shannon worked at E-carts in Roseville and I worked for Cole supply. I was the delivery boy for her building. After months of passing by the 'juice girl' and us exchanging googly eyes I finally worked up enough courage to stop and introduce myself. When my courage ran short all I could do was shake her hand and pretty much run out the door. After that first awkward introduction I came back the second time to ask her to lunch, and ended up leaving with a bottle of water and a phone number. In the midst of our second awkward conversation I ran short on words and filled that uncomfortable silence with 'I have a hole in my sock and my big toe is sticking out'. Well after that we didnâ¬'t talk until the next delivery day (about a week later) when I got in trouble for not using the phone number I got. After talking for a while, we had our first date. When she arrived she had a gift for me... New socks. We went to Berkley and the rest is history in the making!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....Merry Christmas! We wake up to open presents in our PJ's at around 6:30. All the presents are sorted and torn open, when I was told to close my eyes because he had one more present for me. A minute later I was told I could open them, and when I did he was knelt down in front of me with a little white box and a red ribbon wrapped around it. He asked me to open it and when I did asked me to marry him. I was shocked! I kissed him and hugged him...but forgot to answer. All of a sudden I hear a 'well..a yes would be nice.' And I said 'Of course I will'. We arrive at his parents house for a family get-together...and are greeted with tears and smiles. As the day went on, I found out that I was the last to know. His parents already knew, and he had already asked both of mine as well. Now we both feel very privileged to join such welcoming and loving families.
